
Albert will propose new legislation in efforts to assist new business entities and provide specific tax credits to keep those jobs. However, proposed legislation will also close loopholes that require any company that has received tax credits or taken advantage of Free Enterprise Renaissance Centers and chooses to leave the community or state, must repatriate the state and community all credits with tax and penalties before they close said facility. Further, they will be required to provide health care protection to dependents of displaced workers for an additional 2 years or until health protection is secured through new employers.
